About Jennifer

Jennifer Young

Jennifer Young has spent more than 30 years helping people understand why health, performance and functioning do not always match potential.

Her background spans biology, occupational health, health and safety, law, education, hormones, neurodiversity and acupuncture. Throughout her career she has worked with individuals, organisations and healthcare professionals to explore the factors that influence how people function in everyday life.

Before establishing her clinic, Jennifer worked across sectors including oil and gas, construction and heavy engineering, examining the interaction between people, systems, environments and performance.

Today, she brings these disciplines together through Jennifer Young Clinic, helping people understand factors that may be affecting recovery, energy and functioning, and identify practical next steps.

Professional Background

Jennifer's professional background includes biology, occupational health, health and safety, law and education.

For many years she worked across oil and gas, construction and heavy engineering, helping organisations understand risk, performance and the factors that influence human functioning.

This work developed a long-standing interest in why capable people do not always perform or function as expected, and why the same challenge can affect different people in different ways.

That investigative approach now sits at the heart of Jennifer Young Clinic.

Clinic Philosophy

People are often told that a single issue is responsible for how they feel.

In reality, several factors may be interacting at the same time.

Hormones, recovery, lifestyle, pressure, neurodiversity, environment, health history and everyday demands can all influence how a person functions.

The aim of Jennifer Young Clinic is not simply to focus on symptoms, but to assess, prioritise and investigate the factors that may matter most, helping people make informed decisions about what happens next.
